In my hometown, the deep interior of the vase continent, there is a Demon Castle rising from seabed thousands of years ago. Its Yardang landform was constructed by wind erosion and drought over the centuries.
The ancient seabed breeds the landscape as well as plentiful oil source. Hundreds of pumping units are capturing petroleum tirelessly day and night in the oilfield, a symphony of the machines drumming in the desert.
We are creating one fragment of time in the history of this vast land. I dream the land far in the future without us anymore.
